I've never really listened to Bruce Springsteen but now this has me intrigued and I'm going to have a listen. I've been told the lyrics are good. You write about things that even though I know not a lot about, have grabbed my attention and kept my interest and I'll be following your blog :) I also wish you all the best with your artistic pursuits! Thank you for your kind words. I draw inspiration from Sylvia Plath, Pablo Neruda and sometimes Carol Ann Duffy...and I'm glad that you haven't pretended to know what my poetry is about. Sometimes I don't know myself...what I aim to do is write so that readers can take it from whichever angle they want and apply it to themselves. I need to write so that it's flexible and not confined to just one meaning...I mean, not everyone looks at a painting the same way and I believe the same should go for any piece of art, including writing. Some people dislike the way I write but kind words like yours are very encouraging. I'm glad to have found this blog and you have to keep up the amazing work! :)
Thank you for your kind words also. I am glad to have introduced you to Bruce :-)
I definitely agree about art - it's not about definites but rather to open up a world where people can find something to connect to - their interpretation is just a right as anyone elses.
I enjoy your blog too and look forward to your future writings!
I am 36 years old and just trying to find my way. I love poetry, lyrics, movies and photography and am using the blog world as an outlet for my passions. Enjoy and comment freely!
